An acquisition decision requires knowing the vessel beyond its commercial specifications. TWS conducts a comprehensive technical assessment of its condition, providing field information for buyers, shipowners and charterers, as well as support and partnership with companies specialized in pricing, valuation and vessel approval processes. The objective is to document the condition found and the matters requiring clarification before the decision.

Subject to the appointment, the assessment may cover the hull and structures, bow and stern, deck, accessible compartments, cranes, engines, auxiliary equipment, and propulsion and steering systems. The rudder and propeller are included in the assessment where appropriate access conditions are available. Maintenance documents, presented certificates and records of interventions, when made available, help contextualize the observations and identify points requiring further analysis.

The extent of each inspection is defined in advance. Submerged parts may require dry-docking or underwater inspection; internal components may depend on opening or dismantling. Diving, testing, sea trials and specialist assessments must be authorized, planned and performed by competent personnel, in accordance with the contracted scope. An inaccessible area remains identified as not examined, with an indication of the relevant additional inspection.

The report brings together findings, photographs and service limitations, distinguishing inspections performed from documentary information or information received from third parties. This organization provides the specialists involved with a technical basis for their own assessments and helps the client direct questions, due diligence and investigation priorities.

The TWS assessment does not, in itself, constitute a financial valuation, purchase approval, class survey or statutory certification. Nor does it guarantee the absence of hidden defects or future performance. Pricing and approval decisions remain with the professionals and entities responsible for those functions. Please provide the vessel type, its location, the purpose of the assessment and the anticipated access conditions to structure the service. On-site service is provided in Northern and Northeastern Brazil, subject to availability confirmation.
