TWS Maritime Service Ltda.
Supplier Code of Conduct
Safety, environmental responsibility and professional integrity.
Purpose and application
This code sets out conduct expected of suppliers, consultants, service providers and subcontractors supporting TWS Maritime Service. Its application should be proportionate to the work, its risks and each party's responsibilities.
Suppliers should identify those responsible for an assignment and communicate relevant requirements to people engaged on their behalf. Subcontracting must respect agreed authorization requirements and preserve clarity about who performs and supervises the work.
People and fair treatment
The ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work provides a reference. Suppliers are expected to respect freedom of association and collective bargaining, prohibit forced and child labour, prevent discrimination and provide a safe working environment.
Employment arrangements, pay, hours and rest must comply with applicable requirements. Workers must retain freedom of movement and access to their identity documents. Recruitment and supervision must be free from coercion, harassment and threats.
Integrity and independence
Suppliers should uphold principles compatible with the TWS Code of Ethics. Relevant conflicts of interest must be disclosed. Commercial incentives must not determine survey findings or compromise evidence.
Qualifications, invoices and work records must be accurate. Offers of improper advantage and requests to conceal material information must be escalated. Public references to TWS, clients or assignments require appropriate authorization.
Safety, environment and information
Suppliers should provide competent personnel, coordinate site requirements and communicate unsafe conditions. Environmental controls should match the materials and activities involved, including lawful waste handling.
Information about vessels, cargoes, crews and business arrangements must be shared only as authorized or legally required. Personal data requires appropriate protection, with reference to the Privacy Policy.
Concerns and follow-up
Checks and evidence requests should reflect relevant risks and agreed rights. Corrective action, suspension or termination must consider the facts, applicable law and contract. This code does not independently establish an audit right or automatic penalty.
Concerns may be raised through Contact TWS. The Code of Ethics provides the reference for reports made in good faith and protection against retaliation.
